ABOUT US

CityView UC is at a turning point

Life takes us through stages, each one with its ups and downs, times of joy and tough times. It’s the same for our church community planted 5 years ago. There have been good times when things seemed to be humming along. Challenges came up and hurt what we had. These times are tough, they scar us and leave us wondering about the future – both our own involvement with the church and the very existence of CityView UC. Many have chosen to leave, others have chosen to stay. New people are joining.

And so we continue.

We continue to meet to encourage each other in life as Jesus followers.

We continue to work out our discipleship and spiritual life with God.

We continue to be an open and welcoming community.

Come along and join us – share a time of reflection with us at 5pm and then dinner together from about 5.40pm.

Scott Litchfield – Interim minister

“The purpose of journeying together in spiritual friendship and spiritual community (whether there are just two of you or whether you are in a small group) is to listen to one another’s desire for God, to nurture that desire in each other and to support one another in seeking a way of life that is consistent with that desire. ”
